Row of consoles draws its inspiration from the makhila, a traditional Basque shepherd’s walking stick.
The bronze feet are a stylized representation of the point of the makhila, whilst the handles in scarified medlar wood patinated in olive oil were made by Bergara family, expert makhila artisans for 200 years, EPV

Collection M-E.K
The M-E.K collection is the result of a collaboration with Marie-Eugénie de Pourtalès, a recognised artist whose works are now found in numerus private collections.
Her family background, originally from the Atlantic to the Urals, has led her to focus on the essential, to flee from the anecdotal and trends, in order to seek what is meaningful and profoundly human in art, while accessing a form of timelessness.
The letters M-E.K ? ME for Marie-Eugénie, and K for Kostia.
